Örby Ängars Badplats

Bathing beach in Helsingborg

Örby Ängars Badplats is a 1,000 meter long sandy beach in the southern part of the nature reserve Örby Ängar between Helsingborgs southernmost district Råå and its neighboring town Rydebäck.

In contrast to Örby Ängars Norra Badplats in the north at the harbor of Råå, the southern section with Örby Ängars Badplats is longer and less densely visited.

The beach consists of fine-grained sand and has a shallow sloping bank area. It borders on the wide moorland of the nature reserve, with bush vegetation and wetlands – inviting for walks, cycling and horseback riding.

There are toilets, barbecue areas, a kiosk and a playground. North of the beach towards Råå, before the northern part begins, there is a section about 200 meters long, which is approved for dogs.
