Klockaredösen

Stone chamber grave in Södra Åkarp near Vellinge

The stone chamber grave Klockaredösen is located in the middle of a field near the eastern outskirts of Vellinge. The grave dates back to the early Stone Age and is estimated to be approximately 4,000 to 5,000 years old.

The grave chamber consists of three large stone blocks that form the side walls and a fourth, larger block that forms the roof. In the roof block some cup-shaped hollows have been chiseled.
