Falsterbo Photo Art Museum

Photography museum in Falsterbo

The Falsterbo Photo Art Museum is a photography museum in Falsterbo in the municipality of Vellinge Kommun. You will find it in a small forest area next to the beautiful Falsterbo Strandbad, the kilometre-long sandy beach of the town.

The museum is based on the collection of Claes and Christina Lindquist from Malmö. In over 15 years, they have collected more than 450 original photographs, creating a private photo collection of international calibre. This collection includes photographs by Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Albert Watson and many other artists.

Since May 2021, you can admire this unique collection for yourself at the Falsterbo Photo Art Museum. You can explore the exhibition on your own or join a guided tour. More information about the tour and booking options can be found on the official website. In addition to the collection, changing exhibitions regularly offer you new photographs on various topics.

In the museum shop you will find thematically matching photo books, posters, postcards and much more. You can also enjoy Nordic cuisine in a café & bistro - with a view of the small pine forest and on the terrace of the museum in summer.
