Fredhällsbadet

Bathing place at Tranebergssund on Kungsholmen

Fredhällsbadet is a bathing place in the centre of Stockholm and is located on the rocks on the west side of the island Kungsholmen.

Fredhällsbadet belongs to the city of Stockholm, but is rented to the swimming club Fredhäll, which opens the bathing spot to the public during the summer months. The bathing place does not have a beach - you can reach the water directly via stairs from the rocks.

The water is already deep in the shore area and only suitable for experienced swimmers. The swimming area is separated from the Tranebergsund fairway by buoys and ropes. The bathing place is equipped with a large wooden deck for sunbathing as well as a small summer café and portable toilets in the entrance area.
