Farsta Strandbad
Beach at the lake Magelungen in Farsta
The bathing place Farsta Strandbad is located at the northern end of the lake Magelungen in the city district Farsta, about 12 kilometres south of the city centre of Stockholm.
The popular Farsta Strandbad consists of a 60 meter long sandy beach and a large sunbathing lawn, which is also used for playing volleyball. The shore is shallow and sandy, which makes the bathing place also suitable for small children.
The beach is equipped with two bathing bridges as well as toilets and changing booths. There is also a kiosk with ice cream, drinks, snacks and coffee as well as a small outdoor terrace and an area to play boules.
