Bathing place at lake Bräkentorpasjön near Ljungby
Bräkentorpasjöns Badplats is located on the shore of lake Bräkentorpasjön in the eastern half of the municipality of Ljungby, only a few kilometers from the central town Ljungby.
Bräkentorpasjöns Badplats is situated on the east side of the lake, which is about one square kilometer in size. The bathing spot consists of an approximately 15 meter long and five meter wide sandy beach with a sandy and shallow shore area. The bathing area is framed by birch and pine trees, which gives the scenery the charm of a forest bath.
There is no lawn, instead you can place your blanket either on the sandy ground at the edge of the beach or you can make yourself comfortable on the forest floor in the light shade of the trees.
The bathing spot within the recreation area Bräkentorps Strövområde has a bathing bridge and a playground. You will also find a toilet, a picnic table, a barbecue area and rescue equipment.
