Artist's studio in Näsum

The studio and exhibition space of painter Troels Kirk is situated in his residential house on the outskirts of Näsum, about 12 kilometers north of Bromölla.

Troels Kirk, born in Denmark in 1956, is an autodidact and creates naturalistic paintings in acrylic and watercolor. His motifs reflect mainly the silence of nature, the animal life or the sea and the coast in different seasons and under different weather conditions.

His paintings generating moods by the selection of the motif, perspective and the play of light and shadow. Moreover, his works impress with a very high level of detail, which can be seen especially in his life-size representation of two shire horses.
