Galleri Hamnen
Studio and gallery at the port of Viken
Galleri Hamnen, the studio and gallery of ceramic artist Åke Larsson, is located in the harbor of the picturesque fishing village Viken, about 8 kilometers south of the town of Höganäs.
The works of Åke Larsson are sculptures made of color glazed pottery and usually shows people or animals, often in pairs or small groups. Larsson began his artistic career in the 1960s. From 1972 to 1983 his works were shown at various art exhibitions.
Since 1979 he runs Galleri Hamnen and hardly takes part in foreign exhibitions anymore. He presents and sells his works exclusively in his own gallery.
