Jogersö Havsbad

Sandy beach on Jogersö

The beach Jogersö Havsbad is located in a bay on the west side of the archipelago island of Jogersö, about 3 kilometres west of the city centre of Oxelösund in the municipality of Oxelösund Kommun.

Jogersö Havsbad consists of a 180-metre-long, up to 60-metre-wide sandy beach and a huge sunbathing lawn with its own barbecue area. From a rock formation at the western end of the beach, two interconnected bathing jetties extend out into the bay. From the beach itself, a wheelchair ramp leads directly into the water.

The bathing area at Jogersö is well frequented in the summer, also because of the adjacent campsite with almost 150 pitches. However, in addition to the usual toilets, the beach also offers a kiosk and a miniature golf course.

If you have your dog with you, there is a small, designated dog beach just 350 metres to the west, where your four-legged friend is allowed to jump into the water.
