Haijska Huset

Selma-Lagerlöf-house in Landskrona

Haijska Huset in the center of Landskrona was a girls' school from 1871 to 1915 where the then 30-year-old Selma Lagerlof lived and worked as a teacher. The later Nobel Prize winner wrote the first chapters of her novel Gösta Berlings Saga in this house, her debut as a writer and one of the most read Swedish books.
