Kristinebergsbadet
Beach at the lake Gnötteln near Hultsfred
The bathing place Kristinebergsbadet is located on the north shore of the lake Gnötteln, only 4 kilometers outside of Hultsfred.
The shore in Kristinebergsbadet is relatively shallow and very suitable for children. The 100 meter long sandy beach is wide enough to build small sandcastles and the equally long, about 20 meters wide, well-kept lawn is large enough for ball games.
The further equipment of the bathing area consists of a long jetty and a small playground. At the edge of the lawn is a changing cabin and a toilet. Kristinebergsbadet can not be reached only by car, but also has its own stop of the heritage railway Smalspårsjärnvägen Hultsfred-Västervik.
